汉语中很习气说（传闻罗曼语系的法语、意大利语、西班牙语等，也习气这样说），但在英语中很少用english level这个词，除非在很特定的比照formal的场合才用，一般往常对话中很少用english level（甚至很少用level这个词），即运用也多用level in/of english。
以下这些关于“英语水平”的说法实践上都是错的，not idiomatic，not natural:
