五. A Black Umbrella (1)
Sally was a student.It was going to be her mother's birthday. She wanted to buy her a present that would be niceandusefulbut not expensive.
A week before her mother's birthday, shewentshoppingafter a quick andsimplelunch.When she had been lookingfor half an hour, she found a shop that wassellingcheapumbrellas,and decided to take a black one. Her mother hadlost hers the monthbefore.

Onherwayhomein the train that evening she felt hungry because she had such a small lunch that she went along to the buffet car(餐车) for a sandwich and acupofcoffee.

Steve, our monitor,is my bestfriend Wegoskating, play football, talkaboutsports,and gotoaconcert.When I broke my leg,he always came over to play games;in school, he carried my schoolbag for me and got my lunch for me. I know I can alwayscountonhim, and he alsoknows that he can count on me.
Somefriends may be in your lifeforawhile. Others will be thereforalongtime, maybe even forever(永久). I would hate to move, unless I could take my friends with me .They aretooimportantto leave behind.
