英语“围棋”(Go)的英语口语训练：What's Go?

我们学习英语的重点不在于“用”中文“懂得”了英语意思就算“学会”了英语，而在于通过这句英语的学习给了一个我们开口“说”英语，“用”英语的机会和能力锻炼。也就是说“用”英语比“学”英语重要。

如果你真不知道英语Go的意思(指“中文意思”)，你就“先知道”好了。这无可厚非。

现在的问题是你已经“知道”英语Go的中文是“围棋”了，你还有必要继续“只知道”它的中文吗？

接下来的“能力训练”就是：你见到英语Go时，你“能说”多少英语，“能记住”多少英语，而不是汉语？

一、我们试“读”下面的英语

Go is an ancient Chinese/Japanese board game for two players, in which the aim is to surround,to control, or to enclose

more territory than the opponent.

Go have completely different strategies: Chess is more focused on destruction and mostly involves tactics with the aim is to catch the opponent’s king.

On the other hand, Go is more building-oriented and requires to think more about strategy. It’s an imperial game where both players try to enclose more territory than your opponent.

我们“读”了这段英语就可以借此做“英译英式英语口语”训练了，注意千万不要把它当做“翻译成中文理解”来学。那样就失去了训练英语能力的意义。

二、口语训练

我们现在要做的，不是把上面的英语翻译成中文来“学”，是直接用英语“表达”上面的英语，即训练“用”英语，“说”英语的能力

1) Okay.I got you.I know what Go is and its difference from Chess now.

2) Go is a board game for two opponents/players.It came from China,or Japan(?)

3) When we play Go,we try to surround,to control,to enclose more territory than our player.

只有“会说”这样的英语，才有可能把Go作为一个Topic(话题)跟老外讨论“什么

是围棋”，而不是流水账式地“说”一些“实用”英语口语：I like playing Go very much.Shall we play Go,etc.

我们学习英语Go，也不求“多”，能“死记” 英语try to surround,to control,to enclose more territory than our player足矣！

4) Go is different from Chess.When we play chess,we try to capture the king of our player.

We din't surround,control or enclose his territory.

5) Go is a game of strategy and Chess is a game of tactics.

你“记不住”这些英语，只记住依托中文意思理解的I like playing Go very much.之类的英语，英语是没有进步的。
