先检测一下单词的掌握程度
在进入单词复习之前,先来检测一下学生们单词的掌握程度是很有必要的。
单词九宫格
游戏规则:
学生准备一张用“井”字分成九格的纸;老师念九个单词,学生将单词听写在格子中;填好后,老师打乱次序重念单词,学生在写出的单词上画圈;
当圆圈在横行、竖行或对角线上成为一条直线,即为拼写“Bingo!”成功;最先喊“Bingo!”并拼写正确的同学获胜。
猜单词
游戏规则:
两人一组,每组一盒单词卡片;学生A用英语描述抽中的词汇(可用肢体语言、造句等方式,不得出现本单词);学生B根据描述猜测单词,猜对则计1分;规定时间内,猜对并拼写单词正确最多的小组获胜。
翻看卡片
游戏规则:
将单词制成单词卡(单词、释义掺杂),洗乱后把它们面朝下摆成阵列;学生依次翻开单词卡,正确读出单词,说出释义,拼写成功,则保留本单词卡,反之放回;拥有卡片最多的学生获胜。
吊小人
游戏规则:
Hangman直译为“上吊的人”,是猜单词的双人对抗游戏;学生A提出任一单词或短语,学生B在7步之内拼出该单词或短语,否则小人将会“上吊”,本人也扣一分;扣分最少的一人为胜。
单词的结构,真的记清楚了吗?
通过第一阶段——检测阶段对学生关于已学单词(包括拼写和释义)的掌握情况了解,老师们不难发现学生在拼写单词上容易记混。所以,第二阶段我们就来通过小游戏加强学生对单词组成的掌握。
乾坤大挪移
游戏规则:
找出单词的拼写错误,重新归位被打乱了顺序的单词。
词中有词
游戏规则:
教师给出一个单词,学生根据单词中的字母,组成新单词,看谁组成的单词多,例如:late(5):a,at,ate,let,tea;
下列单词可供参考,括号中的数字是可组成的最低单词数:team(5),table(10),woman(10)answer(10),strong(10),mountain(20),honest(15),nothing(15),father(20),cart(5);
或者,老师也可以将学过的单词制成单词链出示,如theredoorunder;让学生在一定时间内将单词链拆成最多的单词,如:the,
he, her, here, there, red, door, or, run, under。
分类复习,更容易掌握
分类复习,一直都是词汇学习的妙招。那怎么在分类复习中加入游戏的有趣元素呢?
拔河赛
游戏规则:
画一条横线“拔河绳”,黑板中间再画一条竖线“界河”,左右各画五个小格。双方各将一枚棋子放在“拔河绳”末尾作为己方中心;
将学生分成若干小组,由其中两组进行拔河;
甲队的第一人说出一个词,乙队的第一人则立即说出反义词或同义词;
乙队答对,棋子向甲方移一格,反之向乙方移一格;
之后,双方次序调换,依次进行;
一方棋子移动五格到达对方界河边,则本方获胜。
单词墙
游戏规则:
这个游戏并非比赛形式,只是为了带动学生分类复习;
用不同颜色的纸在墙上设置出26块区域,以字母A-Z分类;遇到任何以那个字母开头的词语,都可以放进去,例如and 和all,就放在a区域。

游戏规则:
给学生一张单词表,让找出相近分类的词,理出关系,制成单词云。
借助工具更好掌握
看图写单词
游戏规则:
事先将需复习的单词用简笔画画在小黑板上或大白纸上;将全班按4人一组分组;
游戏开始后,给学生们一分钟时间看小黑板或白纸;
收起黑板或白纸,给学生两分钟将看到的单词写出来,写得最多最正确的组获胜。
练习纸
游戏规则:
利用各种各样的练习纸帮助学生练习高频词。
1.(Read it)读一遍
2.(Clap it)拍掌数音节
3.(Trace it)描单词
4.(Find it)从各种词语、句子中找到这个词
5.(Write it)用这个词写一个句子
6.(Color it)给这个词涂颜色
7.(Spell it)拼写这个高频词
8.(Tell it)聊一聊这个词语

The best thing in the world
Once upon a time, there were four brothers who lived in a far away land.
曾经,有四兄弟住在一个遥远的国土上。
Their father was an old king.
他们的父亲大人是一个老国王。
One day he said, "I will not live long now. Today you must start out into the world. In a year, bring back the best thing you have found. The one who can pick the best thing shall be the new king."
一天老国王说:“我不可能长命百岁,现在开始你们必须要开始闯天涯。一年内,把你们发现的最好的东西带回来。谁能把最好的东西带回来,谁就是新国王。”
The first brother said, "I will look in every city or town. I will buy the best thing I can
for my father."
大兄弟说:“我会巡遍每一个城市乡镇。我会把最好的东西买回来献给我的父亲大人。”
The next two brothers said, "We will both go on fast ships over the sea. We will find something better."
二兄弟和三兄弟说:“我们俩会登上海上快速的舰艇,我们会找到更好的东西。”
The last brother said, "I am going to ask the people here in our own land to tell me the best thing."
小兄弟说:“我会询问我们国家的子民(什么是)最好的东西。”
The other three brothers began to laugh. "Then you will never be king!" They said.

The last brother started off.
小王子启程了。
When he had gone about six miles, he met a man. "What do you carry in those big bags?" he asked.
当他出发了六英里,他遇到了一个男人,他问道:“你的那些大袋子里装了什么啊?”
"The best thing in the world," said the man. "These are full of the good nuts which fall from my five nut trees."
“是世界上最好的东西”,男人回答,“这些袋子里装满了饱满的坚果,都是从我的五棵坚果树上掉下来的。”
"I don't think that would work," said the brother to himself, "I must try again."
“我觉得那还不是世界上最好的东西”他自言自语,“我必须再试一次。”
The brother went on another seven miles. He found a small brown bird.
小儿子又走了七英里。他发现了一只棕色的小鸟。
It had been hurt, so he put it in his coat where it could keep warm.

As he went on, he saw a little girl crying.

He ran to meet her. "Why are you crying?" he asked.

"Thank you. What a pretty bird!" she said.

"I wish you would give it to me. If you will let me keep it, I will always be very kind to it. I will take care of it myself. I will make it grow well again."
“我好希望你可以把小鸟给我,如果你让我保管它,我会对它很好的,我会亲自照顾它。我会让它再次成长的很好。”
"Yes, you may have it," said the brother. So he gave her the bird and went on.

At night, he went to sleep under a round yellow haystack.
晚上,他就睡在枯黄的干草堆里。
When it was light again he walked on.
天刚亮他就要继续上路。
Every day he would walk eight or ten miles.

He asked the people about the best thing in the world.
他问人们世界上最好的东西。
Some said it was best to sing. Some said it was best to run and jump and play.

The time came when the king called his sons together.
国王召集他的儿子们的时间到了。
"What did you bring?" He asked them all. The other brothers had many beautiful things.
“你们都带了什么?”他问所有的儿子。其他几兄弟都拿出来很多精美的物品。
"And what did you bring?" said the king to the last brother.
“那你带了什么?”国王问小儿子。
"This is too funny!" said the other brothers.
“太可笑了”其他兄弟说。
"He has nothing!" But the king was kind to the last brother.
“他什么都没带!”但是国王对小王子很慈祥。
"What did you bring me?" the king asked again.
“你给我带了什么?”国王又问了一遍。
"I bring only the friendship of your people," said the last brother.
“我只带了你的子民的友谊”小儿子说。
"That is the best thing!" cried his father. "You shall be the new king."
“那是最好的东西!”父亲喜极而泣。“你是新的国王!”

单词罐
游戏规则:
准备一个放有单词小纸片的罐子;学生从中取出一张纸片,并用其造句来进行比赛,看看谁造句更多更准确。
单词接龙
游戏规则:
学生4人一组,教师说第一个单词。(如教师说:“Magic banana.”);
学生A联想出新的相关单词,并快速说出。(如学生A接着教师,说:“Banana makes me think of fruit.”)后面的学生依次跟上;
卡住、说错或重复了前面说过的单词,则出局。坚持到最后的学生胜利。
话题词头脑风暴
游戏规则:
将全班分为若干组(3-6组为宜),提出某一话题,给学生2分钟时间思考这一话题下的词汇(如:means of transport之下包括car, bicycle, scooter, coach等);
每组轮流说一个单词,教师将单词写在黑板上;
如果其中一组无法提出新的单词,则出局,坚持到最后的小组获胜。
句型转换(直接引语变间接引语)
游戏规则:
班级按照每列一组分组,老师给出一个关键单词;
第一位学生根据关键单词造一个陈述句,第二位学生将该陈述句转换为间接引语,用“He said… / She said…”;
第三位学生再造一个陈述句,第四位学生将其转换为间接引语,以此类推,直至所有学生说完。
如出现错误,可以请其他学生更正;
游戏结束后,教师可以点评:Facts may be distorted through gossiping. So we’d better not spread gossip.
听力接力
游戏规则:
全班按照座位,每列分为一组。教师对每组第一名学生说一个句子;
该学生向同组第二名学生耳语复述,第二名学生再向第三名学生耳语复述,以此类推;
句子一旦传向下一位学生,不能再向前面的学生追问;
最后一名学生将听到的句子写在黑板上(或写在纸上),最先写出正确句子的小组得分。
