I think teachers are important in my country, well, I suppose it’s the caseall around the globe.
For starters, people who are qualified to be teachers must be patient,responsible and knowledgeable, I mean, with at least a bachelor’s degree, andthey should be keen on sharing what they know to youngsters. And also, they haveto be masters when it comes to communicational skills.
A good teacher not only teaches the knowledge, but also inspires us to be adecent person, kind of like a life coach. They are able to change the life pathof a student. For example, a friend of mine in college once told me his story.He used to be a disaster in high school, you know, he would bully and fight withothers after school. And skipping classes is his “strong suit”. His teacherdidn’t know what to do about him, and she kind of just gave up on him. But ayear later, he had a new teacher, one that he used to hate a lot. She would givehim det网上英语外教哪家好ention after school and tutor him for free. He was so annoyed at first,but 2 months later, he completely changed, ‘cause he realized the progress hehad made. And gradually, studying started to grow on him. And surprisingly, hegot 3rd place in his final exam that semester.
I know this is kind of cliché, a troublemaker turns into a promisingstudent with the help of a particular teacher, but I’ve heard so many storieslike this, and I know a couple of friends with similar experiences, so I believethe power and influence teachers have on their students. That’s why I thinkteachers are important.
