A tall building in my city that I like is a huge tower, the financialbuilding. Although it is called the financial building, in fact it has a lot ofshops, restaurants and malls on the lower floors. It's a fantastic building,actually, and is designed by a famous French architect, whose name I forgot. Itis, like most modern buildings, made of glass and metal and designed ininteresting 
curving shapes. It's a fascinating building and the interior isreally interesting too. Some people think it looks like how they imagine a spaceship might look like – slick, white metal and glass, sweeping curves and linesand perfect lighting. I like it because it combines the best of functionaldesign, with aesthetic beauty, and it's really relaxing to be inside. Somehow,even when it gets busy, it's a really nice relaxing space, and you always feelgood there, you feel comfortable there, you feel that you can relax. There is areally nice coffee shop in the lobby with all sorts of modern art pieces on thewalls, and a stunning range of interesting coffees and snacks. A lot of peoplego there to work in their break times, as there are comfy sofas, power-pointsfor laptops and great service. So, I can see that they've made a lot of effortwith the design of the building as well as with the businesses and commercialoutlets inside the building. I enjoy going there, also because it is nearby afew places that I often need to go to for work – it's in the heart of theCBD.
